Affirmation is the action or process of affirming something. Reading and using affirmations daily can channel our thoughts into manifesting positive realities.
Growbox is a digital application created to make the process of reading affirmations a beautiful, efficient and consistent experience.

The usage and existence of Growbox is digital, especiallly on mobile devices. The identity had to go beyond the digital and invoke a sense of calm and feel of being connected to the universe.
We chose the name 'Growbox', as for us, the mobile device became the box which would induce our brain to think and act towards a better living,
thus growing in life.
The logotype was developed from early sketches into
a earthy yet dynamic visual, combining hand lettering and digital illustrations.
We wanted the entire look and theme of Growbox to be very pleasing to the eye and tender to the mind. After experimenting with a number of different palettes in the pilot version, the overall theme color palette was chosen.

The element 'Box' was a strong identity both in the name and the visuals for the application. This 'Box' became our dynamic element, different renditions of which was then used as home button, home screen icon, favicon, notification icon and so on.
The main palette has three colors : lavender, peach and orange; calm and warm colors from the nature. The extended palette includes tints and hues of the main palette. The entire theme is meticulously designed to be color blind safe.
Our focus was to map a seamless user journey and introduce features which would make it easy for anyone to read, use and follow affirmations in their everyday lives.
